Hole Description
A reachable yet challenging dogleg right Par 5, a drive in the fairway is a must here, as a deep bunker challenges the right side of the fairway, while a water hazard resides on the left. Use caution when approaching this long but narrow green, as a dangerous slope sits directly behind with a large water hazard. The bailout area is short and left and will leave you with an easy up and down for birdie.

Hole Description
Directly into the prevailing ocean breeze, this challenging Par 3 can be overcome with a tee shot on the green in regulation. This is not a hole to be a hero, as anything long or left will surely end in a bogey. Get your par and get out!

Hole Description
Jim Fazio was kind enough to provide a generous fairway on this challenging Par 4, but don't get careless, as Out of Bounds lines both sides of the hole and a series of deep bunkers reside on the right side. The green is well guarded by bunkers short-right and left. Depending on the hole location, an accurate approach shot is a must, as the front quarter of the green slopes severely from back to front, while the back half slopes away from you.

Hole Description
Keep the driver in the bag on this short dogleg left Par 4. With trouble left, right and long, a simple iron or fairway wood will suffice. A nicely placed tee shot will leave you with a wedge or short iron into a large receptive green. Be cautious of short as a large deep bunker will leave you with a challenging up-and-down.

Hole Description
Straight into the breeze and water lining the entire right side of the hole, this challenging Par 4 requires a long tee ball down the left side. A high and soft approach shot is necessary to hold this green which slopes off in all directions. A par is a great score on this hole.

Hole Description
The second most difficult hole on St. Lucie Trail requires an accurate tee shot for those looking to post a respectable score. Long ball hitters should put the driver away as the fairway becomes very narrow at about 270 yards. Anything left off the tee will surely end up sinking in the pond. Add 5 yards for the uphill "T-Bone" shaped green that is very well guarded in all directions. Consider a par an excellent score.

A large ridge separates the front from the back half of this huge green. Ending up on the correct tier can make the difference of having a birdie opportunity vs. a three putt.

Hole Description
Long ball hitters can grip it and rip it here. A nicely placed tee shot between the fairway bunkers, will leave an opportunity to go at this green in two. We weary of long left of the green, as a severe slope will likely send your ball into the neighbor's back yard.

Hole Description
With the clubhouse view in the background, this beautiful dogleg left Par 4 can provide golfers an opportunity to finish the front nine with a birdie. However, a tee ball left of the fairway, will certainly end up out of bounds or in the hazard. The "plateau-style" green can be challenging if not hit in regulation, as it lies approximately 3 feet above the surrounding ground.

Hole Description
Leave the driver in the bag. This short straight-away Par 4, requires an accurate tee shot in the fairway. A dangerous water hazard resides on the left side from tee to green, and a large hidden pot bunker sits on the right side. This green will be a challenge for all player types. This left to right sloping green has multiple tiers and elevation changes that will make a simple two-putt difficult.

Hole Description
This is a true three-shot Par 5. With the prevailing wind into your face this hole will certainly challenge your game management skills. Placement off the tee is vital, with a large bunker on the left side of the fairway. For those who would like an adventure, if you an acceptable distance from the green, you may try to hit over the houses. Anything mis-hit or left, will surely end up out of bounds. For those taking the safe route, the perfect layup line is just right of the left fairway bunker. This green slopes severely from back to front, so pay close attention to the pin location.

The easiest and shortest of all the Par 3's, this is certainly one to take advantage of. The only place you cannot miss is right of the green, as a sloping hill and water hazard will eat up anything hit in it's direction.

A slight dogleg left Par 4, provides an abundance of fairway and a bailout area right. Do not miss it left off the tee, as it will likely end up in the community backyard out of bounds. A straight forward approach shot to a vulnerable green should yield way to a birdie opportunity. Don't miss your approach long, as the green slopes from back to front and will leave you with a tricky up and down.

Hole Description
This starts the series of the great finishing holes at St. Lucie Trail Golf Club. Don't be fooled by the second shortest Par 4 of the course, as a misplaced tee shot could end in disaster. Keep the driver in the bag as the landing area is sparse the closer you get to the green. After a tee shot just right of the left fairway bunkers, use caution hitting into this well protected green with multiple tiers. The bailout approach shot is certainly short-right.

Hole Description
Big hitters can take it over the fairway bunker, however, be weary of out-of-bounds that borders both sides of the fairway. Don't forget to add on a couple of yards for the slight uphill approach. This green is protected by a severe slope left of the green and a large bunker right. Try to leave your approach just short of the pin, as the green slopes severely from back to front.

Hole Description
Leave the driver in the bag on the most difficult hole at St. Lucie Trail. Anything more than a hybrid brings the large waste hazard into play on the right, while out-of-bounds is dangerously close on the left. After a perfectly place tee ball down the center of the fairway, play conservatively to this wide and narrow green. Severe slopes protect short and long of the back-to-front sloping green. Play to the larger portions of the green to avoid a potential bogey or worse.

Often into the prevailing wind, this Par 3 can be a bear without a green in regulation. Anything left of the green will certainly end in a costly hazard penalty, while severe slopes protect the right and backside of this green. A par is a great score on this challenging hole.

Hole Description
A beautiful finish with the clubhouse in the background, this long Par 5 should be played conservatively as trouble lies right and left throughout the entire hole. Long ball hitters can take their drives over the left side of the right bunker. Use caution when laying up, as the fairway narrows significantly starting at approximately 150 yards out. Be cautious of the large water hazard that lies directly in front of the green. Be sure your approach ends up on the appropriate tier of the green, as the multiple tiers can make for a challenging two putt.
